Actor Chetan Attacked by a Gang of Men Near Bangalore

The well-known Kannada actor Chetan Chandra, who has been in popular films including PUC, Premism, Rajadhani, and Jarasandha, is said to have had a terrifying encounter on Sunday night in Kaggalipura, which is close to Bengaluru. Through a video posted to social media, Chandra made the incident public.

Chetan made the decision to accompany his mother to a temple in honor of Mother’s Day. While he and his mother were driving home, he was allegedly attacked by roughly twenty people. In an Instagram video, where he seems bruised and hurt, Chetan recounted the incident and claimed that an inebriated person had pursued and wrecked his car. Then a bigger contingent assembled and attacked him in the vicinity of Kaggalipura.

Chetan Chandra revealed that during the altercation, he sustained injuries, including a fractured nose. He showed off his wounds in an Instagram Live video after requesting medical attention at a local hospital. The actor disclosed to his audience the details of the assault and emphasized his desire for justice, adding that he had reported the incident to the police. Chetan Chandra described the sequence of events in the video, elaborating on how things got worse when the drunk driver hit his car and then summoned in a bunch of people. He claimed that he is still in the dark about the cause and intent of the unjustified attack.’

Social media users are furious after the actor’s horrific ordeal; many are supporting him and calling for justice on his behalf. The desire for responsibility for the tragedy has led to a surge in the hashtag “Justice for Chetan Chandra” among internet users.

The son of K B Ramachandra and B N Anusuya, Chetan Chandra is well-known for both his scholastic achievements and his acting prowess. Information science and engineering is his degree. His acting career started with the 2008 film PUC, costarring with Harshika Poonacha, but Premism was the film that gave him his first break.
