Bengaluru: The boy kidnapped on his way to school on Saturday, November 26th morning was rescued by Bengaluru police within 15 hours after the incident.
Police rescued the boy, Mayank Patel from Palamaner in Andhra Pradesh and arrested four accused involved in the incident.
It may be recalled, Mayank, a fourth standard student, was walking to his school, Narayana E Techno School along with his grandfather Dahiyabhai on Saturday morning. The kidnappers had come in a four-wheeler, pushed Dahiyabhai aside and pulled Mayank into the car and drove away. Dahiyabhai suffered minor injuries but immediately informed his family members.
The police registered a complaint and formed four reams to nab the culprits. After collecting CCTV footage evidence and vital clues from eye witnesses, police succeeded in rescuing Mayank, Son of Haresh Patel, a timber businessman from Gujarat, now settled in Bengaluru.
