Bangalore: In a dreadful accident four people lost their lives and 26 were injured when a Bangalore-bound bus from Tirupati fell into a roadside gorge on Monday January 20. The accident occurred in the wee hours near Hoskote district of Karnataka.

Around 26 people  including a pregnant woman and children were seriously injured in the mishap.

According to sources, the  accident took place when the bus driver veered the vehicle towards the middle of the road and hit against a divider in a bid to avert bumping into a girl who was crossing the road. The bus eventually fell into a roadside gorge.
