On Monday morning, when these pilgrims were heading towards the holy place through Batingu where terrorists attacked, CRPF rescued them and sent them to a reserve force camp in Anantnag.
The family members of over 24 pilgrims from Dharwad who are on pilgrimage, are worried since they are unable to contact them. The family members said that their mobile phones were unreachable.
It is learnt that the pilgrims have returned from Yatra and are stuck in Anantnag due to traffic jam following terror attack.
