Dharwad: Noted writer Chandrashekhar Patil has asked dramatists to keep track on changes in society and to put life into them through their works. Dramas should become medium to record and display of such societal changes.

Speaking at the valedictory of ‘Ranga Dhwani-2017’, a national-level drama fest here on Sunday evening Patil said with changing times, the currencies, peoples ideologies and other things could change, but the thirst for internal knowledge will remain the same, he said.
Creativity is a buzz word today. An old play blended with creativity will touches the heart of audience, which is need of the hour, he said.
Writer Sadanand Menon from Chennai said, theatre is built by poets, writers, social thinkers, and folklore experts, and hence, it reflects nationality. Our forefathers built the society on the lines secular credentials, but politicians have changed the meaning of nationality giving it a political colour, he said.
Ranga Samaj member K Y Narayanswamy, Rangayana administrator Basavaraj Hugar, Rangayana Director Prakash Garud, and others were present.
