New Delhi: President Pranab Mukherjee’s wife, Suvra Mukherjee, who was in a critical condition, passed away on Tuesday.

It is said that she was suffering from respiratory problems for a while.

The president tweeted about his wife’s demise this morning. The tweet read- “It is informed with deep sorrow that First Lady, Mrs Suvra Mukherjee passed away this morning at 10.51 am.
