New Delhi: A suspected ultra, Mohammad Shahid, an operative member of Lashkar-e-Taiba has been arrested by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police from Haryana recently.Sources said the terror group had planned to target Delhi.

The accused 32-year-old, Mohammad Shahid, a resident of Mewat region in Haryana, was arrested from his house on December 10.
It is known that he has been making contacts with a top Lashkar commander in Pakistan on phone and had visited Pakistan twice.

Sources further reveal that Shahid has been communicating with Javed Baluchi, an LeT commander who is based in Pakistan for the past few days on a regular basis.A few of the conversations have also been recorded, confirmed a police official at Delhi.
