Haridwar: In what seems to be fresh trouble for Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurved, Food safety officials reportedly collected samples of cow milk’s ‘desi ghee’ manufactured by the former after allegations were levelled against the manufacturers about presence of fungus in ghee.
The move came after locals in Uttarakhand’s Haridwar raised allegations that Patanjali’s ‘desi ghee’ had fungus in it.
District food safety officer of Haridwar Mahima Nand Joshi has confirmed that the samples have been collected for tests after reports of fungus in ‘desi ghee’ were received.
The report of test is expected to come out in a fortnight.
