New Delhi: Three schools in Delhi have been targeted with bomb threats via email, prompting a swift response from law enforcement. Sanskriti School in Chanakyapuri, Mother Mary School in Mayur Vihar, and Delhi Public School in Dwarka were the recipients of these threats.

Amidst the tense situation, Mother Mary School, which was in the midst of conducting an exam, had to abruptly halt proceedings as the search operation commenced. The school promptly declared an emergency, urging all individuals to vacate the premises immediately.

Concerned for the safety of their students, Delhi Public School promptly informed parents via email about the threat and took the precautionary measure of sending students home.

Upon receiving notification, local law enforcement swiftly evacuated the school premises, leading to scenes of worried parents rushing to collect their children.

Responding to the threat, authorities deployed bomb detection teams, bomb disposal squads, and personnel from the Delhi Fire Service to the affected schools. Despite thorough searches, no suspicious items have been uncovered as of yet.

This incident echoes a similar hoax in February at Delhi Police School in RK Puram, highlighting the ongoing challenges posed by such threats to educational institutions and the diligent response required from authorities.
