Raipur: In a startling incident from the Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai (KCG) district of Chhattisgarh, a 14-year-old girl allegedly killed her older brother after he scolded her for conversing with boys on her mobile phone.

Reportedly, the young girl has been apprehended by the police for the incident that occurred in Amlidih Kala village under the jurisdiction of Chhuikhadan police station on Friday. According to authorities, the accused teenager recounted that she and her 18-year-old brother were alone at home while the rest of the family was away for work when the tragedy unfolded.

Apparently angered by her brother’s reproach, accusing her of engaging in conversations with boys on her phone, the girl allegedly struck him on the throat with an axe while he slept, resulting in his immediate demise. She then proceeded to bathe and rid her clothes of bloodstains before alerting neighbors to her brother’s demise.

During interrogation by the police, she confessed to the act, as per official statements. A case has been registered, and further investigation in this case is going on.
