Bhopal: In another instance of our politicians taking law into their own hands, a Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Rustam Singh from Madhya Pradesh was seen slapping a toll employee. The incident was caught on camera.

The incident took place late on Wednesday night near Morena on the Agra-Mumbai National Highway. Shockingly, Rustam Singh was IG police and later joined the BJP.

Toll manager Sanjiv Shukla said that a leader came to the toll and the toll workers and the gunman greeted them. “We don’t know what transpired between them and they started beating the toll workers. We were told it was Rustam Singh,” said Shukla.

BJP workers have filed a police complain against toll employees saying they beat up the party workers. Two toll employees have been arrested.

There has been no complain from the toll employee’s side yet.
