Mangalore: H Prasanna, who was appointed as the MCC commissioner last month, has yet again transferred to Uttara Kannada district as additional deputy commissioner, with Ajit Kumar Hegde Shanadi being reappointed MCC commissioner.

On August 13, Wednesday the government issued an order to reappoint Ajit Kumar Hegde Shanadi as the city corporation commissioner.

As per the reports, the quarrel  between the groups of ministers and city corporators worsened after the transfer of Shanadi to the department of finance, Bangalore.

H Prasanna, additional deputy commissioner of Kodagu, took charge on July 16, however accordingly a call from CM’s office was made to the office of Dakshina Kannada district deputy commissioner asking him not to take the post.

 Reportedly, 26 city corporators stood firm behind Shanadi and submitted a petition to the chief minister for his continuance, and they had full support of minister, Ramanath Rai. The urban development minister, Vinay Kumar Sorake, also was in favour of this.
