Mangaluru: International Women’s Day was celebrated by Syndicate Bank, Kulshekar Branch at its branch premises on March 8.

On the occasion, the Chief Manager, Ravi Prasad Bhat welcomed all the guests and informed that Syndicate Bank was celebrating Women’s Day at all their branches today.

Ms. Reena then gave a brief introduction about different loans available for salaried and non-salaried customers. She also shared information on loans for vehicles and small enterprises.

The branch distributed loan sanction letters to women entrepreneurs.

Mrs. Gretta Rebello, former corporator, was the chief guest for the evening. She said that she was happy to see many businesswomen in the gathering. She noted that the bank had given more loans to woman. “We need more emphasis on woman’s education. An educated woman can change the society,” she said.

Mrs. Mable Menezes conducted games for the guests. Ms. Chaitra delivered the vote of thanks.
