Rambha’s recent revelation about an incident involving Rajinikanth during the shooting of the 90s film Arunachalam has ignited a controversy, dividing netizens and sparking a fan war on social media.
In an interview with Cineulagam, Rambha shared a light-hearted anecdote about her time shooting for Arunachalam and the simultaneous shooting of Bandhan with Salman Khan. However, her comment about an incident involving Rajinikanth led to a flurry of opinions on social media.
Rambha recalled a moment when Salman Khan and Jackie Shroff visited the sets of the Tamil film Arunachalam. She mentioned hugging them in greeting, unaware that Rajinikanth was observing. Later, she was informed that Rajinikanth was upset with her for hugging Northern actors while maintaining a formal demeanor with him.

According to Rambha, when she asked Rajinikanth about it, he playfully responded that he was upset because she hugged other actors but behaved formally with him. She further described a prank played on her by Rajinikanth and the team, where they switched off the lights and someone tapped her from behind, leading her to scream. It was revealed later that Rajinikanth had orchestrated the prank.
While Rambha narrated the incident in a light-hearted manner, expressing the camaraderie she shared with her co-stars, some netizens criticized Rajinikanth’s behavior.
