Setback for CBI: UAE court rejects the appeal

RANCHI:  United Arab Emirates (UAE) court has rejected the request made by the CBI to extradite Sanjay Chaudhary who is the close aide of the former CM Madhu Koda. Through the external affaris ministry from the past one-and-half year the CBI trying hard to get  Chaudhary  back from Dubai Senior officer of CBI has confirmed that their request made to the UAE court regarding  the extradition has being rejected but they are yet to get the copy of the order.

The money being invested in UAE, Indonesia and Liberia and Chaudhary is alleged as the key mastermind behind this overseas investment of Madhu koda.Chaudhary  was arrested by the UAE authorities on November 9 CBI since then the investigation agencies has been trying to get him back to India for the trial against the Rs4,000-crore money laundering scam led by Koda and his associates.

Sources say that only after interrogating Chaudhary they would be able to connect to the missing links of this scam. Chaudhrary has been alleged of taking the delight of about Rs 13 corer from an Mumbai based company just to get favor in the allotment of iron ore mine in Jharkand  for lease by the former CM then.The other entire prime accused in the Rs 4,000-crore scam, including Koda and his aides Vikas Sinha, Binod Sinha, Manoj Punamia and Arvind Vyas, have been arrested and interrogated by the CBI and the enforcement directorate except for Sanjay Chaudhary.
