Bollywood Actress Priyanka Chopras father Ashok Chopra who passed away on Monday afternoon was cremated in the evening at Oshiwara crematorium. He was hospitalized at the Kokilaben Dhirubai Ambani hospital two weeks ago. He was undergoing cancer treatment for the past few years but this time he was at the terminal stage.

Many bollywood celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan,Deepika Padukone,Parineeti Chopra,Karan Johar,Madhur Bhandarkar,Ranveer singh,Ranbir kapoor,Anurag basu,Shahid kapoor  and Hrithik Roshan attended the cremation.

The last rites of ashok chopra took place between 5.30 pm to 6pm.

Ashok chopra a doctor, had retired from the army in  1997 as a lieutenant colonel. He was survived by his wife Madhu,also a former army doctor,daughter Priyanka and son Siddharth.
