Washington: As most people know, the republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is mean. He proved it yet again during a campaign stop in Roanoke yesterday when he played on Hillary Clinton’s maiden name ‘Rodham’, and called it ‘rotten’.

Mocking Hillary, Trump said that she was not using her maiden name ‘Rodham’ for campaigns anymore as it sounded like ‘rotten’.

He said, “Why did Hillary get rid of her middle name? Huh? Hillary? No, but why did she get rid of it? Hillary Rotten Clinton, Rotten Clinton. Hillary Rotten Clinton, right? Maybe that’s why, it’s too close. No, no, it’s too close, it’s too close.” The crowd could be heard cheering for the republican presidential nominee.

Trump had been using ‘crooked Hillary’ as a nickname to refer to Hillary Clinton and ensured he used it yesterday as well. Hillary hasn’t spoken about this mean wordplay, but said, “One thing’s for certain: You won’t ever hear me praising dictators and strongmen who have no love for America,” slamming Trump for praising Saddam Hussein and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
