Corp Bank pays Rs. 173.80 crore Dividend to Govt of India

New Delhi : Corporation Bank, the premier public sector bank of India has presented a Dividend Warrant of Rs. 173,80,76,129/-  to the Government of India. Ajai Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director of Corporation Bank handed over the Dividend Warrant to Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram in  New Delhi recently. The Bank had declared a  Dividend at Rs. 19/- on a paid up equity share of Rs.10/- each for the Financial Year 2012-13.

The Dividend was handed over in the presence of Namo Narain Meena, Union Minister of State for Finance and Snehlata Shrivastava, Additional Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance. Among others present on the occasion were   Amar Lal Daultani, Executive Director of Corporation Bank, Anna Roy, Government of India Nominee Director on the Board and  Jai Kumar, Circle General Manager of the Bank.
