New Delhi: An Australian chef killed, dismembered and cooked parts of his girlfriend before killing himself in his Brisbane apartment.

The chef, Marcus Volke, 28, who slit his own throat and killed himself, had initially fled from the officers who had arrived at his apartment after receiving complaints of a foul smell.

Upon entering the apartment, the police found body parts of Volke’s girlfriend, Mayang Prasetyo, cooking in a pot on the stove. Other parts of the transsexual’s dismembered body were found in garbage bins outside the apartment.

Marcus and Prasetyo had reportedly married last November.

Prasetyo worked at the Melbourne trangender cabaret show Le Femme Garcon.

Earlier, Prasetyo had advertised herself as a high-class transsexual escort on a British online classifieds website.

In another advertisement, the transsexual wrote she was a first-timer in London who was ‘busty’ and ‘extra hot in bed’ with a ‘big banana’.

On another website she had advertised herself as offering ‘top high class international’ services as a ‘shemale’ escort.

When the police entered Volke’s Brisbane apartment, they found parts of Prasetyo’s body cooking in a pot on the stove.
