Pyongyang: After hydrogen bomb, North Korea is now in news again for successfully testing ‘hangover-free liquor’.
As per the state media, the liquor with 30 to 40 per cent alcohol will not leave the consumers with hangover in the morning.
According to the Pyongyang Times, Koryo Liquor uses a cunning combination of six-year-old, top quality ginseng and “scorched glutinous rice”, reports AFP.
What it results in is a subtle blend of sweet and savoury that is “highly appreciated by experts and lovers as it is suave and causes no hangover”, the newspaper said.
According to the news report, the wonder-drink has already won prizes, including top spot at last year’s national liquor show.
