Mangalore :Kulshekar parish ICYM youth celebrated Tree planting day by cleaning up the enviornment and planting a few saplings at Anganawadi in Kannur on June 29.

Chief guest Kannur ward corporator Manya Sudhir said youth are the strength of our country. We should appreciate their work and love towards environment.

Sushil Noronha convenor of the organisation said in these days of destruction of the environment youth are coming forward to save it. It is a positive development, he said.

Anganawadi teacher Meenakshi and youth organisation members were present.

Ancita secretory of ICYM proposed the vote of thanks. Valentine crasta compered the programme.
