Karun Nair scores first century for Mangalore United in KPL

Mysore: In the ongoing Karnataka Premiere League (KPL) match between Mangalore United and Bijapur Bulls, Mangalore United having lost the toss and put into bat have set a daunting score of 176 runs to win.

The two opening batsmen Rohit Sabharwal and Karun Nair proved to be a tough partnership to crack for the Bulls, and broke only towards the 19th over when Sabharwal was run out for 68. Karun on the other hand got to a score of 100 off just 62 balls. Thus, the team managed to put up a score of 176-1 in their alloted 20 overs.

All the Bijapur Bulls bowlers were taken for a clobbering, with A Bhat being the most economical with 0-11 off his 2 overs.

In the run chase, Bijapur Bulls have already lost their first wicket against a strong bowling attack by Mangalore United and at the time of writing this report are at 23/1 in 3 overs.
