Mumbai: India’s squad for upcoming T20 World cup announced on Tuesday, Ajit Agarkar-led national selection committee announced 15 members team. Rohit Sharma will lead the team, while Hardik Pandya will be his deputy.
Karnataka wicket-keeper batsman KL Rahul failed to make it to the team. The team has given opportunity to Shivam Dube, who is doing good with the bat in the ongoing IPL. The selectors did not select senior player Dinesh Karthik, who was expecting that his name would be included because of his red-hot form with the bat.
Co-hosted by West Indies and the United States, the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will get underway days after the conclusion of the Indian Premier League.
