Christchurch: The sleuths arrested a twenty-year-old youngster who was accused of serious assault on Jesse Ryder a few days ago.

The senior detective serge ant Brain Archer said to the media persons during the press meet held here on Friday March 29.  The police have laid manhunt to nab others involved in this case.

Ryder who was hardly hit on his head is recovering, informed the hospital sources.

Ryder was expected to play in Delhi Dare Davils team in IPL – 6 that will begin on Wednesday April 3.  However, its owing to Ryder’s critical injury, he is likely not to play in IPL-6.
