Real Star Upendra, who is turning 48, today on September 18, has decided to keep it low-key in the wake of the on-going Cauvery unrest. However, fans of Upendra turned up at his house at midnight. Not to disappoint fans, he cut the cake and requested them not to celebrate his birthday in a grand manner.
Upendra had a single release this year in the form of “Kalpana 2”. The film did not do well as expected at the box office. He has “Mukunda Murari” for release. The film which also stars Sudeep is expected to release next month.

A new film “Modi” was also announced recently, wherein Upendra will be playing the title role. Udaya Prakash will be directing the film, which will be released next year.
