Shooting for the magnum opus “KGF” is finally coming to an end. There is only one song left in the film and it has now been announced that Tamannaah will be part of a song.
Speculations were rife that this track, a retro medley, would feature a south Indian heroine. However, now it has been confirmed that Tamannaah will be dancing in the song.
Prashant Neel is directing the film, which is one of the high budget films in Sandalwood. The film has been in the making for two years. The teaser for the film was released earlier this year to extraordinary response. It is a period drama set in the 70s and is produced by Vijay under the Hombale Film’s banner. It will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam as well as Kannada.
This will be Tamannaah’s second stint in Sandalwood. In the past, she was part of a special song in Nikhil Kumarswamy’s “Jaguar”. Meanwhile, Yash is all set to trim his beard for his next film “Kirataka 2”. The film also features Achyuth Kumar, B Suresha, Vasishta Simha among others. The technical team comprises of cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda, music director Ravi Basrur and art director Shivakumar.
