Mangaluru: Several Tulu cinemas have hit the screen of late, but this one will surely enter the pages of history.

On April 8, ‘Namma Kudla’, Tulu movie will be released.

What is historic about the film? Well, it is the first Tulu cinema directed by a woman.

After directing several ad-films and TV commercials, Ashwini is donning the hat of the director for the film, under her own production banner ‘Khushi Films’.

She has also shown her acting skills in the film as the female lead.

The film casts Prakash Shetty as the male lead.

After making strategic publicity online, the trailers and songs of the film have been well appreciated by the audience.

Gopinath Bhat, Santhosh Shetty, Sathish Bandale, Lakshman Mallur and others are the cast of the film, while the technical team has Basavaraju Hasan on camera, Harish Nayak rendering lyrics, music by Gururaj M B, background score by Loy Valentine Saldanha.

the film has been produced by Ashwini along with co-producer Aslam Pasha.
