After tasting massive success by bringing on screen adoption of various novels, Nagathihalli Chandrshekar is back with what he is good at.

“Ishtakamya’, a book by Dodderi Venkatagiri Rao is the muse for Nagathihalli now.

Retaining the name as it is, the film is in a way a comeback of the renowned director who had taken a long break after ‘Breaking News’.

Vijay Soorya-Mayuri, the cute couple who have conquered several hearts on small screen will be playing the lead in Nagathihalli’s next.

Kavya Shetyy, Suman Nagarkar, Rangayana Raghu, Mandya Ramesh, B Jayashreee, Mimicry Dayanand, Chikkanna and Prakash Belavadi will also be seen in the film.

The music rendered by youth talent Ajanish Loknath is already out and have already garnered a lot of appreciation.

“Jenaguva’, a song originally written by none other than Kuvempu is the highlight of the film. Rest of the songs have been penned down by Nagathihalli Chandrashekar and Yograj Bhat.

The film has been produced by Y N Shankaregowda. Nagathihalli’s last successful film was undoubtedly ‘Mathad Mathad Mallige’, which brought together Kannada legendary super star Dr Vishnuvardhan and Kiccha Sudeep. However, ‘Ishtakamya’ is now being looked at as his next big hit.
