It was earlier announced that actor Rishi would be playing the male lead in B S Lingadevaru’s next, “Daari Thapisu Devare”, and now, actress Sruthi Hariharan has been roped in to act opposite him for the first time, as the female lead.
Sruthi agreed to sign on for the film after she was approached the director and shooting is scheduled to begin in November.
Her latest film “Ambi Ning Vayassaytho”, which was released recently, opened to a great response from the audience. In the film, she has been paired opposite Sudeep for the very first time and her role has been widely praised.
In the meanwhile, she has also completed shooting for Mansore’s “Nathicharami” and Manju Swaraj’s directorial.
