Santeyalli Ninta Kabeera’ gets ‘historical’ certificate by CBFC

Central Board of Film Certification has given ‘historical’ certificate to ‘Santeyalli Ninta Kabeera’. Since Darshan’s ‘Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna’, no big commercial film in Kannada got the tag of ‘historical’ from the Censor Board.
The film is based on the Indian mystic poet and saint Kabir, known in Karnataka as Kabeera. With the ‘historical’ certificate in hand, the Karnataka government will give a subsidy of Rs 25 lakh to the team.

The film also stars Ananth Nag and Sharath Kumar in pivotal roles. It is schedule to hit statewide on July 29.
