Coorgi beauty Rashmika Mandanna, who made a successful debut with “Kirik Party”, has signed her third film. The actress will be working with Golden Star Ganesh in “Chamak”, which will be directed by Suni. The makers have confirmed the news and a photo shoot of the two stars has also been done.

Rashmika had already signed director Prakash Jayaram’s next film starring Darshan in the lead role, before the release of “Kirik Party”. The makers of “Chamak” were looking for a suitable Kannadiga to do the female lead and when they watched Rashmika’s performance in “Kirik Party”, they were convinced that she matched their character.

“Chamak” will be produced by Chandrashekar and is a romantic comedy and is likely to go on floors from mid-March. The film is expected to hit the screens by the end of this year or early next year.
