Ullal: The Ullal Police have arrested two persons in connection with assault on a youth in Uchila Peribail on January 11.
The accused are Guru (25) and John (30) from Uchila.

On January 11, Guru and his girlfriend had been to Uchila beach and Iqbal who was playing nearby had abused the couple. Guru lost his cool and went to question Iqbal. Meanwhile, Iqbal and his team threatened Guru and sent him back. But Guru decided to take revenge on the latter and along with his gang, attacked Iqbal when he was playing volleyball at the beach.

Iqbal is undergoing treatment at Deralakatte hospital.
