Puneeth Rajkumar is all set to follow Shah Rukh Khan. Just like how Shah Rukh Khan acts in films, which are produced by him, Puneeth is doing the same. He has committed to do films under Rockline Productions and Hombale Films. After completion of these two projects, he will work only in films from his newly launched production house.

The reason for this is of course, revenue. As an actor, he will only get remuneration. But as a producer, he will also be able to reap in profits, along with remuneration. He also wants to do experimental films, which could be risky for other producers. He does not want to put other producers at risk and hence wants to produce films himself.

PRK Production will be overlooked by his wife Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar. The production house is already producing serials and now it will expand its scope to include movies even of other actors and by other directors as well.

The first film coming out from PRK banner will be Hemanth M Rao’s “Kavalu Daari.”
