Few days back, we had reported that Darshan may work with director Pawan Wadeeyar. And now the news has been confirmed. Darshan’s 51st film will be helmed by Pawan. In the past, Pawan has worked with Puneeth Rajkumar and Yash. This is first time he is working with Darshan.

The film titled “Wodeyar” will be a rom com. The film title is the brainchild of producer Sandesh Nagaraj who happens to be a fan of the Wodeyar kings.

While the script of the movie had been written by Pawan sometime ago, Darshan had requested for a few changes in it which have been effected now.

Pawan is currently making the final corrections to the script along with the changes. As per plan the shooting for “Wodeyar” is slated to start once shooting for “Kurukshetra” is complete. As per Darshan’s expectations, the film will be shot within 65 days. Pawan, who is known for making films in short time is sure of completing the shoot in 65 days. The film is expected to go on floors in January next year.
