‘Nagarahavu’ rights sold for Rs 35 crores?

According to the latest sources in Gandhinagar, the theatrical distribution rights of Late Vishnuvardhan’s film ‘Nagarahavu’ have been sold for whopping Rs 35 crores. If it is true, then this will be the highest amount paid for any Kannada film until now.
The film has been produced by Sajid Qureshi and will hit the screens on October 14 in Telugu and Kannada languages. The Telugu theatrical rights has been sold for Rs 15 crores to Suraksha Media. The team is expecting satellite rights worth Rs 25 crores from Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages.

With the film having recording breaking pre-release business, we can expect the film to break all box office records upon release. The film is scheduled to hit screens on October 14.
