Bengaluru: Young cine director Lohit, who garnered critical applause for his debut movie “Mummy – Save Me”, is ready with his next script. The 21-year-old youngster called the shots for Priyanka Upendra may now direct her husband Upendra.

According to sources in Gandhinagar, Lohit’s next venture revolves around underworld don of yesteryears M P Jayaraj. The official announcement will be made after January 15. Agni Sridhar has come up with a one-liner for the film and is currently writing the script.

The film will be produced by Bhaskar, who had previously made “Andar Bahar.” Upendra was the first person in Sandalwood to do films on Underworld. He directed “Om” and has acted in underworld based films like “Omkara”, “Masti” and “Brahma”.

Upendra is currently busy with Naganna’s “Kanneshwara” after which he will begin his next project “Uppi Rupee”.
