New Delhi/Bengaluru: The State junior teams took the first and second spots in the girls and boys section respectively at the 5th Junior National level T-10 Cricket Championship .

State girls defeated team from Maharashtra comprehensively to lift the trophy whereas the boys lost to Delhi team in a closely fought final match.

Matches were held between December 29, 2016 and January 4, 2017 to decide the champions for the year 2016-17.

Dinesh Kumar, former Indian Kabaddi player and Arjuna awardee was the chief guest on the occasion. Also the current captain of Bengal Warriors Kabaddi team, Dinesh gave away the prizes.
