Sandalwood director Yogaraj Bhat’s protege Veeresh PM is set to direct a film of his own. The film, titled “Preethi Pra-pthirasthu”, is a love story inspired by Bhat’s 2006 blockbuster “Mungaru Male” that starred Ganesh and Pooja Gandhi in the lead roles.
The film has plenty of intrigue and emotion set against an exotic art backdrop. Paintings form an integral part of this love story. Pramod Panju of “Geetha Bangle Store” fame and Adhithi are the lead actors.
Yogaraj and Jayanth Kaikini have written the lyrics for the film. Shridher V Sambram has scored the film’s music. The team started shooting in Bengaluru last month. They have shooting schedules coming up in Ballari, Hubbali and Chikmagalur.
