In what could have turned out to be a major tragedy, Komal and “Loose Mada” Yogish were injured, while shooting for a chase sequence for “Kempegowda 2.” Both the actors were taken to hospital. It is said that they are fine now.

The shooting of the film was taking place near Chennai. The duo have been taken to a hospital in Chennai, where they underwent scans. According to film unit, everything was fine and there was nothing to worry. But looking at the video doing the rounds, it looks like the incident would have injured both actors seriously, especially Yogish.

Few months ago, in a tragic incident on the sets of “Mastigudi”, two actors Anil and Uday had met a watery grave while enacting an action scene. It is high time filmmakers in Sandalwood take all precautions before making artistes indulge in stunts.

“Kempe Gowda 2” is a sequel to the blockbuster movie of Sudeepa’s Kempe Gowda and it is jointly produced by Shankar Gowda and Shankar Reddy under S Company production banner while Roshan Mohan is directing this movie. The first part had Kiccha Sudeepa in the lead role. However for second part, producer Shankar Gowda decided to cast Komal in the lead role.
