Kiccha Sudeepa’s “Kempegowda” was a superhit. The film directed by Sudeepa himself, tasted huge box office success. The producer of the film Shankar Gowda had announced that he will be out with a sequel for the film soon and if sources are to be believed, the promise made by the produce may be realised soon.Umapathy, who co-produced Sudeepa’s recent film “Hebulli” will reportedly be producing the sequel of “Kempegowda”. The action-entertainer will reportedly go on floors later this year. We do not know, if Sudeepa himself will direct the film or he will give director’s responsibility to someone else.

Umapathy has also confirmed the news. He said that the talks are in initial stages. He said he will formally announce the project in few days and requested fans not to believe in any rumours being spread. The first part made Ravi Shankar and music director Arjun Janya big stars in Sandalwood. Ravi Shankar as Arumugam was loved by one and all. Music director Arjun Janya also got a big break with this film.
