Jaggesh’s second directorial venture “Melukote Manja” released last Friday to mixed response. The film has received quite a positive response thanks to the story telling type of 90s. Jaggesh, who apart from acting in the film has also directed it says that he has not taken a penny for the film.
The film has been produced by Chips Krishna, who is a huge fan of Jaggesh. Few years ago, Krishna had come in contact with a technician from Sandalwood, who gave him false promises that he was well-acquainted with Jaggesh and would introduce him to the star. Krishna sold his only house for Rs 1.5 Crore to produce the film believing the technician. Sadly, he couldn’t meet Jaggesh at all, as the latter went missing.
Dancer Mallur Srinivas, narrated the whole story to Jaggesh. Coming to know of this, Jaggesh decided to act in Krishna’s film. He also decided not to take any remuneration as he wanted to keep the budget under control.
