Sapta Sagaradaache Ello-Side A starring Rakshit Shetty & Rukmini Vasanth is a mesmerising love story with an equally hard-hitting jail saga. You will totally love and get involved in Manu (Katte) & Priya’s (Putti) world. Director Hemanth M Rao has hit another sixer with this cinematic poetry on screen with real-life characters, pure emotions, real locations and a brilliant technical team. The main hero of this film is music director Charan Raj. His excellent background music is felt throughout the film & even lifts the film when the pace of the film slows down a bit post-interval. His music will haunt you even after the film ends.

Overall this is a medium to slow-paced film, unlike last week’s release Toby which was ultra slow-paced. Sapta Sagaradaache Ello holds the audience’s interest till the very end and Side B (Part 2) curiosity is also increased after major highlights of Part 2 are shown at the end.

This is Rakshit Shetty’s career-best performance. He has grown as an actor and is excellent. But the biggest surprise of the film is actress Rukmini Vasanth, She looks gorgeous and is terrific in the girl next door character. Her chemistry with Rakshit is pure magic and another highlight of the film. Her dialogues in the film will be a big hit in shorts & reels in the coming days. The way she calls Rakshit ‘Katte’ in the film is already popular. The film is set in 2010 and cinematographer Advaitha Gurumurthy has done a wonderful job of capturing the lower middle class houses and jail scenes with attention to detail. Though the film has sea in its title only one scene is shot on the sea side. That’s the beauty of this film and the director’s vision. Though all situational songs are good they don’t remain with us as none of the songs were promoted before the release except the title track. All character artists have acted wonderfully.

Director Hemanth M Rao is in terrific form again after Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu and Kavaludaari. He had given enough hints to the audience from the very first car scene, the bus going backwards and many other scenes, that the going will not be smooth in the story. The regular conversations between the lead pair in the jail visitors’ room with grills in between them are simply outstanding.

Film Review Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side AThis is a pure class romantic film in a lower middle class setup and interestingly also in the jail. Even mass audience might like it because of its pure emotions, real-life characters, romantic dialogues and engaging screenplay. It’s a must-watch film for people who are or were in a relationship. This film will stay in the audience’s mind for a very long time.

Quality cinema which will take Sandalwood forward. People who watch this film will eagerly wait for Side B (Part 2).
