Dhananjay is at the peak in his career. He is getting accolades for his performance as Daali in “Tagru”, which has become a blockbuster. Now he is turning into a lyricist. “Orchestra”, a production venture by Raghu Dixit, which is directed by Mysooru Sunil has Dhananjay penning lyrics for the film.

Coming from a theatre background, Dhananjay used to write drama skits and direct them. He would also write scripts for short films. So, he is quite used to writing since he did it for a long time. When Raghu Dixit and director Sunil pitched in, Dhananjay had kept the lyrics ready.

Last year, since the only film he had taken up was “Tagaru”, he found himself with a lot of time to write. The actor is happy to contribute to his friend’s film and is quite open to writing lyrics for other films too.
