One of the most-awaited films in Kannada cinema is Darshan Thoogudeepa’s Roberrt. The film which was originally scheduled to release on April last year, could not make it to theatres as lockdown was announced. But now with everything back to the new norm and theatres opening to full capacity, the film’s team is wholly confident that when they release the film on March 11, it will be received well. 

Roberrt sees director Tharun Sudhir and Darshan come together after Chowka in which Darshan had a cameo. The film has been exotically shot in Karnakata and Uttar Pradesh. The flick sees former Miss Supranational lass Asha Bhat making her debut as Darshan’s leading lady. The film also has Telugu star Jagapathi Babu in a powerful and prominent role.

The movie also has Vinod Prabhakar and Sonal Monteiro among others. Roberrt has punching music by Arjun Janya and has been produced by Umapathy Films. The movie will also release in other languages and has created a lot of hype even outside the state, especially Telugu.
