The latest news in Gandhinagar is that ‘Godhi Banna Sadharana Maikattu’ will be made in Hindi as well and this flick may star none other than Shahenshah of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan. Earlier, the reports claimed that veteran actor Anupam Kher and Shahid Kapoor would be cast in the remake.

However, there are several speculations after Prakash Rai, who has got the rights of the film, met Amitabh Bachchan. With this meeting many are eagerly waiting to know if the role played by Ananth Nag will be played by Big B himself.
Meanwhile, Director of the film Hemanth Rao has clarified that he has only given away rights for Telugu and Tamil remake, while the rights for the Hindi remake have not been given to anybody.
“We had an inquiry from Boney Kapoor’s office. The Hindi rights have not been given to anybody,” said the director which stands in contradiction to the claims of acclaimed actor Prakash Rai, who has reportedly told that he was doing the Hindi remake of the film.
