Sharjah: The much awaited UAE semifinals of Konkani’s popular signing reality show ‘Gulf Voice of Mangalore’ commenced here at Sharjah’s Al Ittihad Wedding Hall here today on September 30.

The event will see UAE’s top singing talents performing live to confirm their places at the grand finale of Gulf Voice of Mangalore – Season 5 to be jointly organized Konkani Kuttam Bharain and Aangann Konknnechem Riyadh on 11th November 2016 at Bharain.

The finalists who will render their voice at just commenced semifinals and will be crowned Voice of UAE are Carol Sequeira, Jessica Fernandes, Reena Lorena, Sarah Mendonca, Sharon Rego and Sabitha Mathias in female category and Avith Lobo, Praveen D’Souza, Wilson pinto, Robin Sequeira, Prathap Menezes and Melrick D’Souza in male category. There will be two rounds of singing, the slow numbers and fast numbers amd band A Band Accoustica will render the music.

Music maestros Cajetan Dias, Shilpa Cutinha and Roshan Angelore will judge the singers and chose the winners.

Musical Fusion by the judges, a special vocal performance from members of Melodia voice studio Dubai, dance presentation from members of Feat Beat art center and special musical performance from famous musician Patrick Pereira will be the special attraction.
