UAE: Vamanjooreans UAE organized a picnic on Friday – February 13, 2015  at Zabeel Park,  Gate no. 1 from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.

The fun loving crowd of over 60, made the family day out a grand success. The sprawling lush green lawn of the Zabeel Park was the perfect place for the picnic.

Vamanjooreans UAE members assembled at the venue at 10.00 a.m. The picnic lovers who joined together as one family and had fun. The entire event was conducted by  Joyline Pinto, Rovina, and Lynal Monteiro

At the beginning a delicious breakfast was served at 10.15 a.m. followed by a prayer.

The picnic revelers got into action with a warm up game wherein the crowd was split up into 4 groups. The group names were chosen by the group members. Every group had given a animal name like Tigers, Cats, Lions and Rabbits. The Tigers won the competition.

Different varieties of games like catching the water balloon,  dodging the ball and other games were held.

A delicious lunch was served at 2:00 p.m. and the teams were advised to perform a talent show after the lunch. All the teams participated and showed their hidden talents.

The teams took part in different games and accumulated points for their respective teams.The traditional games like tug of war and “ModkiPotovnchen” were also held.

Tea was served at 4.00 p.m. with evening snack. The president of Vamanjooreans UAE thanked everyone for their presence and participation.
