Dubai: On September 28, around 30 people basically from Ranipura parish gathered in Dubai, UAE and inaugurated their new parishioners organization called “RANIPURACHO EKVOT DUBAI”.

This organization was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Pius D Souza Director of “RYSHIVANA RANIPURA MANGALORE” by lightening the lamp.

On 4th October, more than 40 Ranipura parishioners gathered in Zabeel Park Dubai under the banner of “RANIPURACHO EKVOT DUBAI. The meeting constituted a managing committee for the year 2014- 2015 which included N. Vijay Lobo as President, Steevan Ferrao as Vice President, Sneha Barboza as Secretary, Shashiraj D’Souza as Vice Secretary, Sunil D’Souza as Treasurer, Pradeep Lobo and Ritesh Ferrao as Media Coordinators, Lavina Pereira as Cultural Secretary, and Anil D’Souza as Advisor.

Speaking on the occasion the newly elected president N. Vijay Lobo thanked everyone for electing him as the founder president of “RANIPURACHO EKVOT DUBAI” and promised that with the help and support of the committee and its members he will plan to hold various activities in Dubai & back home (in Ranipura parish) in the coming year. He also urged the members to strengthen our new organization.

The entire day was spent with fun filled games and entertainment at Zabeel park, Dubai to motivate and build a strong bond between the members.  The day concluded with a prayer / blessing and a hymn of Ranipura church, patron Of Our Lady Queen of Universe.
