Dubai: Babruvahana, a blockbuster Kannada film of Dr. Rajkumar, facelifted with DTS Technology and DI work is all set to release in UAE and Oman on Friday June 10.
A mythological Kannada movie which was released in 1977 had created history in Kannada film industry for its rich making and musical extravaganza. The film mile stoned some evergreen songs for Sandalwood like ‘Ee Samaya Anandamaya’ sung by Rajkumar himself and S. Janaki, and ‘Aaraadhisuve Madanaari’ and ‘Barasidilu Badidanathe’, both sung by Rajkumar.

The movie was directed by Hunsur Krishnamurthy where Dr. Raj acted in dual role. Madhusudhan Srinivasa and team from Dizipep who are fans of Dr Raj have taken the initiative of re-releasing and has given a facelift to the film with the DTS Technology and DI work.

Apart from Rajkumar, Babruvahana features B Saroja Devi, Kanchana, Jayamala, Vajramuni, Thoogudeepa Srinivas, Shakti Prasad and Ramakrishna.

Overseas Kannada movies has initiated to release this historical movie in big screens of gulf like Novo Cinemas of Dubai, Grand Safeer Cinemas of Abudhabi, Star Cineplex of Sharjah and Stars cinema of Oman. The chief organizer Deepak has requested all Kannada movie lovers to watch the movie in large number and to make it a historical moment.
