Bahrain: On the occasion of 10th anniversary of Mogaveers Bahrain association, the association organized Akhanda Bhajana Mangalotsav at the private temple of Surendra Shetty.

The Bhajanotsav was inaugurated by association president Leeladhar Baikampady.

The Bhajanotsav, a competition-cum-cultural programme had 10 Bhajan groups representing various associations and states. The groups participated in the divine event.

In the programme Tamil Nadu Sundar Bhajan group won first place and Kerala Art of Living Bhajan group won the second prize. Bunts Bahrain Bhajan group and Shri Vishwakarma Seva Balaga Bhajan group from coastal Karnataka won the third prize. Bahrain Narayaneeya Ashramam Bhajan group from Kerala won the special prize for their disciplined programme.

Sundar Ganesh from Sundar Bhajan group won prestigious individual prize ‘Bhuvaji Of Bharain’. Poornima Jagadish from Bahrain billawas, Sharvani Manjunath and Harini Sunil from Shri Vishwakarma Seva Balaga, Pushkar Sharma from Rajasthani Bhajans, Prathima Shetty from Bunts Bahrain, Sheeja Ajith from Art of Living, Ajan S Arun and Shreya Parvathy from Iskan Bahrain, Joy K V from Matha Amrithanandamayi Seva Smithi, Pradeep K from Bahrain Narayaneeya Ashramam won individual prizes.

Association president Leeladhar Baikampady and other dignitaries distributed prizes to the winners. Surendra Shetty couple was felicitated for their whole hearted support towards the programme.

The rituals were performed by Ganesh Prasad Bhat and Anil Shetty. Pradeep Karkala, Binu Madhavan and Lavan Kumar were the judges. Association entertainment secretary Suresh Amin and treasurer Chandra Mendon compered the programme.
